i am back from a week-long emergency management training in San Luis Obispo. its to train those who will manage an emergency operations center in the event of a major emergency--basically a large earthquake. somewhat of an eye opener on how bad things could be here in the bay area in the event of a large quake. so i'm now in full disaster preparation mode--storing food, water, and looking at buying a generator.

i have a lot of pics--from Doug and I backpacking in Kings Canyon an also some pics from a bay tour i took of the new bay bridge that Caltrans is building. i'll try to snag some time to put those up. JP
